Look who’s back! Sorry for my MIA status, moi has been uber busy lately with new work schedule, yay! Anyways, ‘thought I’d catch up with blog-o-landia before I hit the sack pretty soon (so if you see Misspeled misspelled words, you know I am typing with my eyes closed, okidokie?)
How do you apply your makeup foundation? Me ~ always with a brush, and that’s mainly for hygienic and flawless look reasons. I have a mini collection of stippling brush, flat top, buffer, flat brush, and recently a Sonia Kashuk Pointed Brush…

Small and pointy, will it deliver? Pointblank, yes and no. For my foundations that have thinner consistency like Origins Youthopia and Philosophy Tinted Moisturizer, it blends smoothly and easily. But for thicker and long-wearing ones like Estee Lauder Double Wear and Revlon Colorstay, I needed to use more than the average amount of foundation compared to using my regular stippling brush; and the blending part was a bit hard!
As with other Sonia Kashuk’s brushes, the bristles are soft and dense. The pointy aspect makes it easy to apply on the sides of my nose and under eye area ~ which makes this a good concealer brush as well.
Over-all rating: 4/5 Must-try. If you are looking for good quality foundation/concealer brush at a reasonable price, this beauty is worth the purchase.
