Nail of the Weekend: Essie School of Hard Rocks

While out and about yesterday, I spotted this mini nail set from the Essie Better Together collection at Target (about $7). It includes lacquer and top coat in 5ml bottles. Another menehune* in my beauty vocabulary.

School of Hard Rocks, a gray-green-teal shade is part of Essie’s Winter 2011 Cocktail Bling Collection. It is muted and has no ostentatious glitter factor, kind of an irony from its bling-a-ling name. Not that it’s bad though. In fact, I like how it exudes subtle elegance for this season.
