It’s exactly ten days before Christmas! Are you excited? Do you wait for December 25 to open your gifts? Me, not anymore. I guess age has something to do with it, such party pooper! Well oh well, we don’t have kids in the house so the only one who opens her present on Christmas day is none other than Winkles, our furry baby! **which reminds me, I gotta wrap her gift after this post**

This set has four mini-nail polish, at 0.14 fl oz or 4 ml each, and a gold electroplated Aspen leaf. I don’t have extensive nail polish collection so an addition of these high-end trial sizes are surely must-have’s. Plus my creative mind started to work as soon as I saw that leaf! Can you guess? These nail lacquers glide with ease. They don’t contain formaldehyde and DBPs, and the dry-time is quite fast. I have short nails so the tiny bristles came in handy. The shades are not unique and I am sure that dupes exist even at drugstore level. It took me two coats to achieve the desired color payoff, as shown in the photos above. My favorite shade among the four is All that glitters, a flattering metallic gold. I found that its consistency is thicker than the rest and one coat is enough to see the fabulousness. A close second is Midnight heron, described as deep sapphire or just plain shimmery blue to moi.
I didn’t forget the leaf! Making jewelries is also a passion so this ornament made it to my personal “Upcycle” showcase.
