If you are new to Tarte Cosmetics and would like to try the hype on all-natural makeups, then this duo is made for you.
Blush and Bronze On The Go is a travel size set of blush-on and bronzer ($20, Sephora). Both comes in 0.11 oz and 3.2 grams, which is about half the size of the full versions- quite affordable when you consider the cost of a full size blush- on ($25) and bronzer ($29).
Blush: Dollface Bronzer: Park Ave Princess |
No harmful ingredients such as parabens, mineral oil, phtalates, SLS, synthetic fragrance |
Dollface is a matte light pink blush-on which is ideal for light-fair complexion. It blends easily and stays on longer compared to other brands I have used (about 8 hours, not bad considering my oily skin).
Dollface: Made from Amazonian Clay |
Park Ave Princess mineral bronzer has a slight shimmer which might be a turnoff if you prefer to use it for contouring. The color pay-off is hardly noticeable on me, except for the shimmer which makes me glow from within.
Park Ave Princess: With Vitamins A,C,E; grape seed extract; mineral pigments |
Pros:
- Value for money for a trial size
- Blush-on is true-to-the-pan
- Blush-on has remarkable staying power ( a good 8 hours for my oily skin)
- Sleek packaging
Cons:
- Limited color choices; this duo is ideal for light-fair complexion
- Bronzer is very light (might work as illuminator or eye shadow instead)
Overall rating: 4/5 Must-try
FTC: I purchased these.
