I hope you don't get tired of the same old litany I preach on the blog when it comes to skincare. Start young, wear sunscreen, avoid tanning, quit smoking, drink water, moisturize...repeat. Trust me, your skin will thank you later! Speaking of moisturization, I had opportunity to try another remarkable product from Strivectin, the Multi-Action Restorative Cream ($95, 50ml/1.7 fl oz).

  • Rekindled love. That's how I can best describe my current emotion towards T. LeClerc, a brand I used to patronize when I was in my mid to late 20s. I am more than certain that I was introduced to it during a Parisian trip, back when I was still working at a multinational pharmaceutical company. While my colleagues were busy checking out streetside souvenirs, you bet I won't leave France without makeups in tow, haha! Many moons forward, I am glad to have been reintroduced to this brand while browsing Beautyhabit (online luxe apothecary) last month.

Hello zillas. This year started rather slow on the blog as I haven't been posting regularly. I have been extremely busy at work and life in general leaving me no extra time to sit down and gather my thoughts, let alone write a decent post for y'all. But I'm here, just taking one step at a time so please bear with me. Now that's out of the way, let me fill you in with my newfound obsession on liquid lipsticks. Last week, I brought you Anastasia (review here) so as a sequel, let's probe if MAC Retro Matte is right up my alley.

Part of my resolution this year is to widen my horizon by expanding to brand and/or product type that's out of my comfort zone. Talk about my renewed venture for liquid lipsticks! I've tried a couple few years ago but both left my lips dessert-dry so I went back to nurturing my love for traditional lipsticks. But never say never because my curiosity on the overly-buzzed Anastasia Liquid Lipstick prevailed! So do I join the league of believers now? scroll further for the reveal!
