My Skin Loves Lather

When I went to Lather Spa inside The Modern Honolulu Hotel last week (read my experience), I got to take home some Lather products, much to my delight. It was love at first swipe, glide, shower, and smell so I decided to feature them on the blog today!

If you're new to Lather like me, you'll find great joy knowing that all their products are derived from natural ingredients, totally cruelty-free! They also forged partnership with Clean The World, a non-profit organization that distributes recycled soap products to poor countries worldwide as well as homeless shelters domestically. For every bar of olive oil soap sold, Lather donates 5 bars of soap to this organization.

Coconut Foaming Body Scrub ($21, 4 oz) has the nicest texture and grit compared to other scrubs I have in my stash at the moment. It lightly foams as soon as it's rubbed on wet skin. The coconut fragrance is subtle which makes it pleasing to my olfactory sense. The combination of exfoliants is a big win for me: grounded coconut shell, jojoba beads, walnut shell, bamboo stem powder, among others. My body feels clean and soft after shower. This is a definite must-purchase!

Lather Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ($24, 2 fl oz) is a lightweight sunscreen for the face and body.  It is unscented and the size is very handy to carry around. As you know, the key to preventing sunburn is reapplication every 2 hours or so.

Lip Balm with SPF 15 ($6.50) comes in 3 variants: citrus, spearmint and unscented. If you adore the outdoors like me, you know that our lips also deserve protection against harmful UV rays.

Coconut Creme Body Wash ($18, 8 fl oz) is another win for me. I got a deluxe size so it's gone already after few uses. Like the scrub, it has subtle coconut fragrance which makes bathing ever so soothing.

Coconut Creme Body Whip ($22, 4 oz) is a lightweight moisturizer for the body. It gets absorbed onto the skin pretty fast. It has coconut oil which provides hydration and aloe vera to relieve irritated skin. The jars you see from the photo are deluxe sizes.

Cucumber and Ginseng Facial Mist ($16, 6 fl oz) is a great facial mist to use before skincare or makeup application, even to refresh face when you're out and about. It is alcohol-free and has cucumber and algae extracts to help refresh the skin and ginseng to strengthen and revitalize, just what my face needs! I received a deluxe size, just so you know.

As mentioned, I am glad to have dipped my fingers with Lather. I'm a convert!
