Running late for work again? tell me about it. There is never enough time in the morning to enjoy my coffee and daze like a queen. Which leads me to my non-hypothetical question: if you have barely five minutes to prepare using only five items from your stash, what will they be? or better yet, what are your basic essentials you can't leave home without? Okay I'll start.
I'm all about minimal coverage, what with the threat of humid weather day in and out. I alternate between BB (Guerlain Super Aqua Serum BB Hydra+, reviewed here) and CC cream (By Terry Cellularose Moisturizing, reviewed here).
Un-groomed brows or go home. It's been said many times but you'll be surprised how brows can overhaul a face, and I'm not even kidding! I'm extremely loving Marc Jacobs Brow Wow Defining Pencil right now. It's double-ended, with spoolie on one side and slim but uber-pigmented liner on the other.
Multi-tasking is the name of the game. I love bronzer because it gives my skin a sun-kissed kick as well as 'lil wash of color on the lids. Minor sweep here and there and I'm out the door. Tom Ford Bronzing Powder 01 Gold Dust, two thumbs up (reviewed here).
Mascara for the dull eyes. Tarantula, no way! I'd rather have natural-looking lashes at any given time. A coat or two by butterLondon for the win please!
Neutral is fine but bright lips wow. I go for the latter as you probably know. Hot pink puckers is all the rage for Summer so I'm rocking my current lip pencil fave, glominerals Suede Matte Crayon Sorbet. Bright and matte, when two obsessions fuse, zilla fumes, haha!
Here's my 5 Under 5 FOTD:
Tell me your Five!
