Top (L-R) Bath & Body Works Butterfly Flower Shower Gel, Sugar Lip Treatment SPF15,
Earth Science Eye Makeup Remover, Evologie Stay Clear Cleanser
Bottom (L-R) Pureology Hair Conditioner, Colure Sulfate Free Shampoo,
    Sebastian Trilliance Shampoo

So here we are again talking about my new product empties, as if the world cares {insert evil laugh here}. But hey this is a feat for someone whose eyes get big whenever she hits the beauty aisle. Oki, before I throw these empty products away, may I present them one last time....

Bath and Body Works Butterfly Shower Gel. I don't know about you but my favorite items to buy (and hoard) from Bath and Body Works are shower gels. I like this scent butterfly flower, it's fresh and very feminine.

Sugar Fresh Lip Treatment SPF 15. I have always been a fan of Fresh lip balm, it's one of the most moisturizing I have ever tried. I like that it has SPF 15, yeah our lips need protection too!

Earth Science Eye Makeup Remover. I love to try different ways of removing eye makeup. Cream, gel, micellar, wipes, among others. This gel eye makeup remover has chamomille and green tea, and while I don't really care about these ingredients, I like that this brand can remove the most stubborn eyeliner and mascara.

Evologie Stay Clear Cleanser. This cleanser is indicated for acne-prone skin like mine. It doesn't lather because it's free from SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate).

Deluxe sizes Pureology conditioner, Colure Sulfate Free Shampoo, Sebastian Trilliance Shampoo. I purposely lumped these hair products just to let you know that I tryyyyyy my veryyyyyyyy best to use up every product in my arsenal. I hate clutter and our bathroom is no exception. It's funny how HubZilla has only 2 bath products (or men in general) and me (including you woman!) have a gamut of products for every body part. From hair, face, vajay, feet, armpit. Ohmigosh, name it and we all have it. #wattashame.

So what have I repurchased from this batch so far? You bet it's Bath and Body Works shower gel. Sugar Fresh Lip Balm, Earth Science Eye Makeup Remover and Evologie Cleanser are deferred because I have more products to consume (and report to ya next time).

'til my next random empties beauties,

Makeup is not at all complicated. In fact, there are gazillion and one ways to look naturally-beautiful, if that's your preference. Believe me when I say that you can achieve instant face lift by just focusing on your eyes. Need proof? Let this photo speak for itself.

    Exhibit photo #justbecause

See how my left side appears more uplifted and youthful? (*coughs*). Spot the difference gurl. From now on, remember this ~> BLI. Short for eye BROW, LASHES, INNER corner.

Eyebrows frame the face. It's the first thing I notice and whenever I see un-groomed brows, (especially women my age), I feel sad.  Over-plucked (supah thin) ages you and stray hair -ala- Hercules ain't fab. So brows have to be somewhere in between: defined and naturally-arched. Earlier, I talked about different eyebrows that compliment your face shape. Now stare at the above photo again. My right eyebrow is uneven and sparse. Age does that to you, le' sigh! But it's also related to my habitual plucking (overtime, hair regrowth is compromised). So the first step to our face revamp will focus on eye BROWS. How do you define brows then? With a brown eyeliner or eyeshadow, line your (desired) eyebrow shape. A more detailed tutorial is posted here

Consider yourself blessed if you're born with doll-like lashes. Stooopid five year old moi cut my one and only walking doll's (Leslie) lashes thinking they would grow back. Leslie probably cursed me because I grew up having the most lifeless lashes ever. I am not big on falsies so I am always on the hunt for the best mascara. It's not rocket science but you can achieve curled and flirty lashes too. Take a look at this tutorial, you may learn a trick or two.

The next step is optional. Once again look at the exhibit photo. My upper lash line (left side) looks blacker and intense right? Thanks to tight-lining, it creates an illusion of thicker lashes. In case you're interested on how I do this trick, a more in-depth tutorial is right here.

Finally we come to the inner eye corner. This no-fuss makeup trick will give your eyes a bright and refreshed look. Just dab a lil champagne shimmer eyeshadow (or highlighter) and you're good to go missy!

Purplink. It's a hybrid of purple and pink. And yeah, that word doesn't exist #wordplay. How are you feeling springtime? Over here in Hawaii, it's been ridiculously humid the past two days. Oh how I wish for rain to pour this weekend!

For this eye makeup, I used Wet n Wild eyeshadows, I don't remember the names anymore since I have organized them into this DIY-slash-customized palette. You can read the step-by-step deets here.

I opted for pale pink lips to balance the bright eye makeup. And in case you ask, that lippy is also from Wet n Wild, Megalast 901B.
