Practice makes perfect. That's what I have been doing lately since I'm quite a noob when it comes to nail art. It's nice to be able to draw inspirations from the most mundane things, like this dusty egyptian artwork from our guest room.
How-to:
I painted my nails with Essie "recessionista" (Fall 2012 collection); then I drew diagonal line and stroked it downwards using Sinful Colors nail art "sunset".
