Skincare is one topic I am most passionate about because skin per se is the biggest organ of the body. When I was still working for a dermatology pharmaceutical company, I'd often start my marketing presentation with humorous quotes to get the energy going. One of my favorites then was "you can't face a problem if the problem is your face". But pun aside, you and I know how flawed skin can wreck one's confidence. I talk from experience (acne-ridden teenager here) and back then, there's not much variety when it comes to skincare. Nowadays, the choice is as vast as the ocean. Organic, green, natural, stem cell, cruelty-free, science-based, you name it, every marketer has something "revolutionary" to offer. Basically, it all boils down to personal preference and if you drill down to basics, minimal and naturally-sourced ingredients sometimes offers more advantage. Just like in life, the simpler the better.
